Weeks without Walls @ Singapore is a project pioneered by Global Edutourism Group Pte. Ltd. (GEG), to introduce the Singapore world-class education to Asian countries. Through the camp’s activities, students will definitely gain valuable experience as well as personal development.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the camp, students will be able to develop themselves in the following areas
– Participants will be divided into small groups of 15 to 20. Each group will have a Vietnamese student as a leader. The GEG leader group includes the Vietnamese student from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in order to ensure the quality, reliability as well as caring for the fellow Vietnamese students. Upon requested, GEG can also arrange local Singaporean or the other countries in region to be the group leader.
– Weeks without Walls @ Singapore is designed as a big game based on the TeamBuilding model of NUS. Each group will be guided to create their own identity. In addition, all the groups are required to complete some certain tasks during the camp and will be graded for the whole groups and for particular individuals. These tasks are the team games to stimulate the English skills, creative ability as well as giving the excitement when joining the Camp.
Programme Outline
- LEARNING:
Before their arrival to Singapore, students will do an online placement test to determine their English skills. This will allow our trainers to modify the teaching materials fitting to their own class. Furthermore, students will go straight to classroom on the first day. That is one extra day of study in Singapore compared to other camps.
Teaching lectures is developed based on the program of Cambridge University, UK, with essential information provided about the country, education and culture of Singapore.
Lecturers are the faculty member of Singapore Institution with full of experience & passionate. GEG assure that 100% lessons will be provided by Caucasian trainers.
The number of students per class is expected to be at around 15 in order to ensure the teaching quality. The places of studying are fully equipped classrooms with projectors and AV system.
Graduation ceremony and awarding will be held at university auditoriums which capacity could reach 420. It is the reason for a limit of 400 for each camp. If there are more than 400 students anticipated, the camp will be divided into 2 separated groups.
- TRAVEL:
During the camp participants will travel by bus with 39 seats. GEG uses buses of ComfortDelGro Group. Micro is equipped in bus so the leader can organize games or introduce about Singapore to students.
- ACCOMMODATION:
Students will be living and having breakfast in D’Resort. This is a newly opened resort in so all the rooms, facilities are brand new comparing to the others. Furthermore,D’Resort is located in the recreation zone of Singapore with plenty games, shopping, and activities.
In the other hand, students can choose to stay in the senior NUS accommodation with a lower cost.
GEG maintains Hotline +65 98276527 during the camp, GEG staff with 7 seater car will be available 24/7 ready to support school staff in any emergency situations. As GEG has international staff, the issues of communicate, cooperate and understanding is thoroughly, avoid the mis-communication between school staff and Singapore ones.
There are also some other available accommodation for guests depends on the need of customers such as: City Beach Resort, GoldKiss Resort etc…
- ATTRACTION HIGHLIGHTS IN SINGAPORE:
Students will have the opportunity to visit various places of interests in Singapore and this will help them understand the cosmopolitan nature of Singapore. Local NUS students will be facilitators to interact with and host these students.

SCIENCE CENTRE: The Science Centre Singapore was designed as a fun way to educate children about the wonders of science. A family can easily spend a day here but don’t expect to be able to explore it all in one day as there are more than 1,000 interactive exhibits. The most fun for youngsters is probably the Waterworks featuring a fun water maze made up from water jets. The bottom line is that no child will leave the park completely dry!
