Global Citizenship Education
The Global Citizenship Programme plays a pivotal role in fostering students to become global citizens who see the world as an interconnected set of systems; who seek to interact with and learn from people from diverse cultural backgrounds; who possess the attributes that will allow them to take advantage of the myriad of opportunities abroad; who develops respect and empathy for those whom they share the planet with and who are willing to take action to contribute to a just and sustainable world.

Programme Outline
The Global Citizenship Summer Camp will take place over the course of 10 days, with a 8 days intensive program. This program will feature two elements – The Global Citizenship Curriculum and The Global Citizenship Project.
The Global Citizenship Curriculum will feature a series of holistic and interactive sections that would develop the global consciousness of our participants, and equip them with the key skills that are critical for a 21st century global citizen. Each day of the camp is anchored with a ‘global consciousness’ theme, and the activities and excursions carried out during that day are meant to develop a keen understanding of the theme of the day.
Complementing our vigorous curriculum is the Global Citizenship Project, which participants will be working on throughout the camp. This project provides a platform for the participants to put the content and skills that were taught into action, and develop their own innovative ideas to a pressing issue that is impacting our world today.
Throughout the five days, participants will be engaged in a series of differentiated activities. Using a holistic and interactive approach, our program consists of 5 main components: the Global Citizenship Project, Sections, Activities, Workshops, and Field Trips. At the last day of the camp, participants will have a dialogue session with an esteemed professor, and will have the opportunity to present their Global Citizenship Project. Upon completing their presentation, participants will formally complete the Global Citizenship Summer Camp. The Camp Closing will be followed by a Farewell Dinner, which will be conducted in similar fashion to college formal dinners.
